Myopia Management

Our goal is to slow the abnormal progression of significant nearsightedness to give children more choices in how they correct their vision long-term, and to reduce risk of eye health disease later in life (such as myopic maculopathy, retinal detachment, glaucoma, and early cataracts). While traditional glasses and contact lenses provide clearer vision, they do not treat the underlying cause of myopia, and therefore do not prevent progression of the condition.
