Dr. Hutzell completed her undergraduate studies here in the basin at the Oregon Institute of Technology. She then completed her optometric training at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where she graduated with both academic and clinical honors.

In addition to primary eye care, her areas of clinical interest include treatment and management of ocular disease and fitting specialty contact lenses. Dr. Hutzell has a passion for providing rural and global healthcare and has participated in medical mission trips abroad in Jamaica, Africa, and the Dominican Republic.

​​​​​​​When she is not in the clinic, Dr. Hutzell can be found outdoors! She is a hiking, biking, and kayaking enthusiast. She also loves traveling, reading, and cooking. Be sure to give her your travel and book recommendations at your next appointment!
